Everything you need to know about joining JRCK and riding with us.
Joining JRCK is easy. Simply fill out the membership inquiry form on our Contact page or get in touch with us via WhatsApp. After verifying your Jawa or Yezdi motorcycle ownership, we’ll share the membership details. Once the payment is confirmed, you’ll be officially added to the JRCK rider community. A core committee member will contact you within one week to guide you through the process.
Yes, JRCK charges a nominal annual membership fee that covers club operations, merchandise, event organization, and community service activities. The fee details are shared during the membership onboarding process. All ride registration fees are separate and charged per event based on the duration and nature of the ride.
Yes, riders from anywhere can join JRCK. The only requirement for membership is owning a Jawa or Yezdi motorcycle. Regardless of your location, if you ride a Jawa or Yezdi and share the passion for riding, you are welcome to be part of the JRCK community.
JRCK membership is exclusively for owners of Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles. This includes all Jawa models (Jawa 42, Jawa 42 Bobber, Jawa Perak, Jawa 350, Jawa 42 2.0, Jawa 42 FJ), and all Yezdi models (Yezdi Roadster, Yezdi Adventure, Yezdi Scrambler). Your bike must be registered in your name in Kerala and in roadworthy condition to participate in club rides.
Your motorcycle must be in fully roadworthy condition. This means valid insurance, up-to-date PUC certificate, working brakes, lights, horn, and no significant fluid leaks. For off-road rides, appropriate tyre tread depth is required. Our technical team can conduct a pre-ride inspection if you have concerns about your bike's readiness.
Full safety gear is non-negotiable at all JRCK rides. Mandatory gear includes: ISI/DOT certified full-face or modular helmet, riding jacket with CE-rated armour (shoulders and elbows minimum), riding gloves, and ankle-protecting footwear. For off-road rides, knee guards and riding pants with CE armour are also mandatory.
JRCK operates strictly on the principle of "No Rider Left Behind." Our sweep riders at the rear of every group ride ensure no one is stranded. We have a dedicated WhatsApp communication channel active during all rides, and our technical head carries basic tools and spares. For major breakdowns, we coordinate vehicle support and ensure the rider and bike are safely recovered before the group continues.
JRCK typically organizes 3-8 official club rides per year, including short day rides, weekend tours, and longer multi-day expeditions. Individual district chapters may organize additional local rides throughout the year. All upcoming events are announced in the club WhatsApp group and on our website and social media pages at least 2 weeks before the event date.
Event registrations are currently handled through Google Forms. The ride registration form is shared in our official WhatsApp community, where members can sign up for upcoming rides. Each ride announcement includes complete details such as route information, meeting point, gear requirements, and participation fees (if applicable). Registrations are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis, with group size limits in place to ensure safety and ride quality. Website-based registrations will be available soon, as backend development is currently in progress.
The JRCK Code of Brotherhood is the set of principles every member commits to upon joining. It includes: riding safely and responsibly at all times, respecting fellow riders and local communities, upholding the reputation of JRCK in all public interactions, maintaining your motorcycle in proper condition, supporting fellow members in need, and participating in at least 2 club events per year. Members who consistently violate the code may have their membership reviewed.
Membership can be suspended or revoked by the core committee for serious violations including reckless riding that endangers others, harassment or disrespect toward any member or community, bringing the JRCK name into disrepute through any actions, or consistent failure to adhere to safety and ride guidelines. We are a brotherhood built on respect — and that standard is maintained firmly.
